While the benefits of raw flaxseed, milled flax and flax oil have been well documented and accepted within the scientific and health community, the benefits of germinated flax are only now becoming recognized. As a pioneer in this area of research has resulted in a patent specific to the germination, drying and milling of sprouted seeds and grains.

This patented process stabilizes the essential fatty acids (EFAs) in flax. In shelf-life assays, our flax products showed no sign of rancidity over four years, at room temperature. Organoleptic studies showed no off-flavoring. This is unheard of with any other milled flax or flax oil products.
The germination process also results in increased enzymes, lignans, vitamins and minerals; all of which are maintained throughout the drying and milling process.
